Ferrari has reclaimed control of the 2025 Le Mans 24 Hours with one quarter of the race left, as just seven seconds separate its lead duo. The race saw the #6 Porsche Penske Motorsport 963 LMDh and the #8 Toyota GR010 HYBRID LMH briefly lead after a safety car period, but the Porsche later slipped back. The leading #83 Ferrari allowed James Calado to pass easily at Indianapolis. Both Ferraris faced drive-through penalties for yellow-flag infractions in the 17th hour. Despite a swap of positions agreed upon by Ferrari, the gap between the lead cars widened with Robert Kubica’s rapid laps. Porsche fell to fourth, with the #15 BMW and #12 Jota Cadillac further back in the top 10. Cadillac faced challenges, with one entry retiring due to power loss and another getting stuck in the gravel. In the LMP2 class, the #43 Inter Europol ORECA regained the lead, closely followed by the #48 VDS Panis car. Porsche maintained its lead in the LMGT3 category with the #92 Manthey 911 GT3 R.
